    Rafting, shooting and tacking...

    It has been a wonderful day at Calshot! After showers and breakfast the children got wet (again!) in trying out their rafts. We can report a 100% success rate in raft floatation but a few children fell off and all had lots of fun.

    They all slept like logs...

    The teachers report that everyone slept like logs and after four years of Residential visits the Year 6 pupils are LOVING their time together and having lots of fun with the new challenges.

    Washing machines and cuddles at the ready...

    Year 5 have all been sleepyheads and had to be woken up again this morning!  They have had another delicious breakfast, gathered up all (hopefully!) of their belongings, packed their bags and are ready for another morning of activities and lunch before they head home.

    Morning update - day four

    A good night - the children still weren't awake at 7am and all needed rousing from their beds for breakfast.  More hearty eating of cooked breakfast or toast and cereal.

    Catch of the week - the results are in...

    Our great staff team are pleased to report everyone slept very well last night and awoke to more lovely sunshine.  The wind has calmed down providing the perfect conditions for another fantastic  day at Calshot!

    Starfish, amateur sleuthing & a tubing governor...

    Everyone has had a super day. The staff report that all the activities have been a great success. The trawler group this morning found a great haul including a starfish and a 'hare creature’ which spurts sulphur at enemies!
