Dodgeball at Eggars - February 24

I had so much fun at Eggar’s school while playing dodgeball! There were four schools and each school did really well. Bentley had great teamwork and I enjoyed it the most when the rest of the team were supporting me.

On Thursday 25^th January, I took a team of Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children to Binsted recreation ground to take part in this term’s cross-country event.

On Wednesday, I took a team of gymnasts to Rowledge CE Primary School to compete in the local schools’ gymnastics competition.

On Thursday 11^th January, a team of 16 Key Stage 2 children from Years 3 – 6 participated in the Alton Schools’ Swimming Gala.

Congratulations to our year 5 and 6 rugby team who competed in a local tournament at Amery Hill School yesterday.

Basketball Competition - 26th April 2023

On Wednesday 26^th April, eight children from Year 5 and 6 made up the team of basketball players who went to compete in the Hampshire Basketball Final at Solent University after winning their previous round all the way back in November! We think we played amazingly despite the tough competition. After playing eleven games we were worn out, but overall we were really proud of our performance.

We have lots of exciting plans for PE at Bentley School this year!

I will be working hard with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure PE remains a key priority, so children can keep fit and really enjoy their two lessons of PE a week. We are doing everything we can to maintain a high level of sport at Bentley.
