Bentley children took the top 10 places in the whole tournament

So far this year we have had 63 individual children take part in at least one sporting event for school - challenge is on to get every child to represent us at something!

I am very proud of the commitment the children have shown towards their training sessions and can see that it is really paying off in our results so far.  It is great to see the enthusiasm from all the children for sport – not just from those who take part in extra-curricular sport, but every child has been keen to ‘give it a go’.

At the hockey match against Long Sutton at Lord Wandsworth College, we had to wait for 15 minutes before our opponents arrived.  Harry scored an amazing goal for the team.  Then Cam followed up with the second goal.  The rest of the goals were scored by Cam, Bart and Charlie.  Long Sutton scored five goals.  We played for 20 minutes each way and after the match we were victorious with at 8-5 outcome!  Austin, Year 6 & Cam, Year 5

Years 4,5 & 6 went to a table tennis tournament at Eggar’s.  We were split into groups and added up the points that we scored.  The top ten players were from our school.  Everybody found it really fun.  There were four schools there and we had lots of players.  Louis & Sam, Year 6
