Being away from digital technology with no homework and LOTS of activities, challenges and fresh air has been a brilliant experience for Year 5! They have all tried so many new things with a super attitude. All the staff at Calshot, plus Mrs Ashby, Mrs Miffling and Mrs Patey report what a super bunch they have been – we are very proud of them all.
After a successful evening where we solved the clues in our Daring Detectives activity, we all had a good second night’s sleep and woke up raring to go for our third day of activities.
We all had a great first night’s sleep and woke to the sound of waves crashing on the beach outside our accommodation – Mitchell House. After a hearty breakfast we all set off for our first morning of activities.
We’re here! We’ve arrived at Calshot and have settled into our rooms. Our first challenge was to make our beds before meeting our instructors and heading out for a tour of the Calshot site.
It's only a short while until Year 5 head off to Southampton Spit for their first visit to the Calshot Activity Centre.
