Welcome back to school and a very Happy New Year to you all.
The Christmas break is always a wonderful one, filled with celebrations, family time and, of course, a few lazy days. As a school, we have been incredibly impressed with how well the children have returned this week. It is never easy to swap lie-ins and pyjama days for alarms and school routines, but the children have done so brilliantly and have settled back into learning with real positivity.
During our first worship back, many children shared how excited they were to see their friends again. This really highlights what a special extended family Bentley is for everyone, and how important those friendships are to our children’s happiness and well-being.
The Spring term is always a very busy one, with lots to fit into a shorter period of time. We are really looking forward to a fun-filled and purposeful term ahead. This term, we also look forward to welcoming you into school for our class sharing worships. These are a lovely opportunity for the children to share everything they have been learning and discovering in school.
Please remember that our teachers are always happy to meet with you if you have any questions or would like to discuss anything related to your child. Equally, my door is always open.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
Vicky Hallett
