  • Autumn Term 2025

We started the 2025-2026 year with a bang - literally - with a fun filled nerf gun party. With parents as moving targets, tin can practice ranges and face paint, it was a party to remember. As was the Just Dance party. This was slightly more chilled, but music and dancing filled the school hall nonetheless. These are definitely events to be repeated again.

Our second annual Welcome Afternoon Tea was a lovely way to welcome our new families to Bentley and say hello to our current families. The children baked and decorated beautifully to make the event a big success.

With yet more bangs, Bentley’s Bonfire night was as busy as ever. However, the bartenders and bbq chefs kept up with demand and kept the crowds fed and watered all evening. Children enjoyed the toffee apples and glow items. This is one of our biggest events of the year, and was most definitely a big success.

B-I-N-G-O! Thanks to The Anchor’s generosity, bingo generated yet more money towards the year’s total. Plus a fun night out had by all!

We finished the term with the annual Christmas fair. Raising £1800, children enjoyed festive ponies, year 6 elf stalls and plenty of sweets.

The raffle hampers were over flowing with lots of lucky winners. I think Mrs Hallett had to control herself around all the treats filling up her office. Thank you to all for your generous donations.

After a very successful first term, we look forward to more baking, colour and music ahead in the remaining terms.
