We pride ourselves on offering a wide range of Activity Clubs to support and extend interests across the primary age range. Our Activity Clubs take place in addition to our Breakfast Club and After-school Club which run every day to provide wrap-around care. Some regular activities include Wild Adventures, Artbox, Gymnastics, Football, Judo and Boppin which can be booked directly with the provider.
Also, each term, a range of Teacher-Led Clubs are offered, such as Choir, Computing, Lego Club, Arts and Crafts, Sport, Homework, Games and many more.
Opportunities for music lessons; Flute & Recorder, Guitar, Piano and iRock are available during the school day.

Teacher-led Clubs will start the week commencing Monday 22nd September and will run for 9 weeks. All Teacher-led Clubs will cost £31.50 per term apart from Doodle Club, which will be £28. Please note that this club will not be running on 27th November 2025. Also, there will be no teacher-led clubs running week commencing 20th October due to Parents evening week.

MONDAY
Bentley Nature Guardians – Madame Jones (Years 1-6)
During our Nature Guardians sessions, the children will learn the skills to protect and increase the biodiversity in our school grounds. Once we have mapped our school grounds, we will work on small projects to wild our outside spaces, from planting more wildflowers to creating homes for wildlife.
Information on how to apply for this club has previously been sent out by Madame Jones and applications for this club have now closed.
TUESDAY
Lego Club – Miss Hastie (Years R-2)
At Lego club, children will explore basic building techniques, work on themed challenges, and let their imaginations run wild with free-building time. It’s a fantastic way to encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and fine motor skills—all while having a blast with bricks!
Homework Club - (Years 3-6)
Homework Club offers children a supportive environment to complete their homework, with help from experienced and dedicated teachers.
THURSDAY
Doodle Club – Mrs Hallett (Years R-6)
In Doodle club we will be doing just that-doodling! From giant doodles to online tutorials. We will have lots of fun!
Junior Choir Club – Mrs Miffling (Years 3-6)
If you love singing, come and sing with us in the Junior Choir. We will learn how to exercise our voices by warming them up and cooling them down, and we will practice holding different harmony parts. Songs will be a range of pop, musical theatre and traditional. We will perform in the church at Christmas and go carol singing in the village too.
Creative Writing Club – Mrs Blake (Years 3-6)
In creative writing club, children will be encouraged to find their inner author! They will use different visual prompts to inspire their ideas and write and illustrate different genres of writing over the term.
Artbox
Artbox is an art and design club for young creative minds. Giving children the opportunity to explore and experiment in a wide range of art and craft activities, using a variety of techniques and materials, to help develop and improve their skills, and build confidence through creativity.

Ketsy Magic Club (NEW CLUB FOR BENTLEY)
We are delighted to bring you a new club in the autumn term.
Ketsy's Young Magicians is a unique and fun school club run by real Magicians. Each week, children in years 3 - 6 will learn different age-appropriate magic tricks and progress through their sticker booklet, collecting a sticker for each of the 9 tricks in the booklet. They then perform their favourite trick in the book for a "showtime" sticker and collect the magic wand prize. The club is structured, non-competitive, and designed to build confidence through performance. Every term, children receive a fresh sticker booklet and new magic prop, along with a velvet drawstring bag, take-home props, stickers, a holographic sticker, and their own magic wand. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Recorder and Flute
Jess Webster has been teaching at Bentley for some years. She teaches in small groups and on a 1:1 during school hours. Recorder lessons and flute are open to children in Years 3-6.

Guitar
Will's lessons are relaxed, friendly and individually tailored to each child to their current level and aspirations for the instrument. 'London College of Music’ (LCME) Acoustic Grades level 1 to 8 will be offered should the child wish to do so, but not forced to do so. Beginner to advanced level lessons in all popular styles such as rock/pop/funk/blues/funk/country. Lessons will be primarily based around ’Tab’ reading and my own ‘colour method’. However, traditional notation reading will be introduced down the line of the lessons period. Pupils will be expected to come to their lessons with their own guitar, plus any music/sheets that I have given out thus far, ideally in a display book folder, for each lesson.

Runs on Fridays during school hours. Taught 33 weeks of the school year at Bentley, so this falls slightly outside our usual timetable. Suitable for all children. Children learn drums, guitar, keyboard and vocals in rock groups.
