Day 1

Year 6 were full of energy and anticipation as they headed off this morning on their last residential visit from Bentley!  Having had a great time at Calshot during our visit last year, we were all really keen to get stuck in to more activities and boarded the coach with excitement.

After settling into our rooms, we met the main instructors for the week. This was followed by our first meal at Calshot. We are all really pleased with how much choice there is and how big the portions are - we certainly won’t go hungry! After lunch, we had time to take in the sea air and enjoy the beach before heading to our very first activities of the week: rifle shooting and cycle skills in the velodrome.
