Steam Day - 9th July

One of the areas for development this year has been to highlight Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM).  As the end of the school year draws closer, we thought it would be a great idea to have a whole school science day.

On Tuesday 9th July, all our children will have opportunities to take part in a series of science investigations, led by the Year 6 science boffins.  We will be working in mixed-age groups with younger children working alongside older learners, arranged through our four school houses.

There will be chances during the day to share learning with their classes, and we will be putting together a display of photos and work, ready for Friday’s Open Afternoon.

There is no need for any uniform changes, and lunches will go ahead at the usual times.

We are looking forward to being scientists together, and sharing our discoveries with you on Friday 12th July.
