Year 4 - Day 3

Everyone slept well on their second night at the Gordon Brown Centre after an action packed day and a busy evening playing some team games in the sunshine.  After another good breakfast, we set off for our morning activities.

This morning, we put our den building skills to good use as we made shelters that were waterproof and could fit everyone in our team inside.  After that, we gathered sticks to build a fire then headed to the woods to make our fire in the fire pits. As soon as our fire was burning well, we made some popcorn by heating it over the fire. It was fun hearing the popcorn start to pop and it tasted delicious!!

Lunch was a giant hotdog and fries which was perfect fuel for an afternoon spent running around in the woods playing laser tag.  We played lots of different team games and enjoyed the challenges our instructor Marc gave us.

We are all really looking forward to our final evening activity of the week - the campfire! We have been practising our campfire songs all week in preparation!!

Tomorrow, we have a final morning of activities and look forward to telling you all about it when we see you at 12.30 p.m.
