Day 1 - part 2

After our second activity and another delicious and filling meal last night, we launched into a lively evening with an Egg Drop Challenge (or should we say Water Balloon Drop Challenge…!) — full of creative designs and teamwork.

We then spent some time exploring the beach, where many of the children delighted in finding crabs and even created a crab sanctuary. There was lots of shell hunting, and one very lucky child even discovered a fossil! A passing cruise liner caused a buzz of excitement, with everyone rushing to wave as it sailed by.

Everyone settled in well and had a great first night’s sleep. This morning started on a high with some special birthday celebrations, followed by room inspections with some entertaining songs and dances for extra points and a tasty cooked breakfast to fuel us for the day ahead.

We’re now off to enjoy a full day of adventure — including windsurfing, epic engineering, and orienteering. Stay tuned for more updates and photos later!
