Day 3
After a fun evening of energetic games, we all had a good second night’s sleep and woke up raring to go for our third day of activities. We enjoyed our breakfast and then headed straight down to the beach where we spent the morning working on the Seine netting activity. This is where you stand on the shore and throw out a big net. You then pull it in to see what marine organisms there are. As well as learning all about marine wildlife, we found out how pollution is damaging the sea and what we can do to help.
After lunch, which was well-needed after all the energy used during the morning, we took part in a series of initiative tests. These were great fun and required lots of teamwork. After that, we had a quick snack and then split into our two groups again. Group 2 used their team building skills more as they worked on the hanger’s orienteering challenge, whilst Group 1 had great fun back on the dry ski slope doing ‘Ringo’. After a while, we swapped over, so everyone had an opportunity to do both activities.
Our final evening activity is a movie night. I think we are all looking forward to something a little less adrenalin-filled!
