They all slept like logs...

The teachers report that everyone slept like logs and after four years of Residential visits the Year 6 pupils are LOVING their time together and having lots of fun with the new challenges.

Last night in the evening activity most of the groups completed the building of the rafts and they will be 'setting sail' in the pool today to see whether they are going to sink or swim - always a fun activity to observe and take part in. Team work, resilience and good humour are the requirements for learning today.

The weather this morning is a little overcast but the sun is now peeping through and it is set to be a lovely day - lucky them on the water!

Later on the children are splitting into their groups with low ropes, shooting, fun boats sailing and kayaking all happening.

They are now headed for a hearty breakfast before a busy day.
