Sports Day - Wednesday 19th June
Following our postponement from 12th June due to heavy rain, we are delighted Sports Day will be taking place on 19th June - it is a much loved event at Bentley. The children take part in both track and field events to earn points for their House. Last year Green House were victorious - can they retain the title for this year?
We hope extended family will join us for the day to watch the athletics and the races and then take part in a family picnic lunch. We would love everyone to get in the spirit and come along dressed in your child's house colour!
Children will need to come into school wearing their house colour t-shirt, school PE kit black or green shorts, white socks and trainers. The house colour t-shirt can be one with the Bentley logo available from either of our uniform suppliers, or just a plain t-shirt in their house colour. The won't need book bags, but will need a water bottle and lots of enthusiasm and energy!
Set up your picnic blankets on the recreation ground ready for the events to start at approximately 9.30am. We will only be offering school picnic lunches on the day - no hot lunch option.
