Chores for WWF

Each year our pupils vote to choose three charities to support. Despite lockdown we have been impressed by how the pupils want to get involved and change the world for the better. This activity is designed to be easily managed at home and we hope it will teach children about responsibility in several ways!

The aim is to encourage every child to take part. Whether the donate 50p or £50 it really doesn't matter. Every penny will add up to make a difference to support nature. money can either be returned to school in cash or donations can be made through Scopay.

Task

To choose 1-3 appropriate chores to raise sponsorship for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

Children have suggested tasks such as;

Empty the dishwasher, feed or clean the pets, collect the post, help with rubbish and recycling, ironing (We suggest Year 5 upwards and supervised!), helping prepare a meal, washing up, drying up, mop the floor, polishing, washing windows, dusting, gardening tasks, help with the laundry, sweep the floor, vacuum, walk the dog.
