Day 3 - brilliant!
Year 6 continue to have a brilliant time at their final Bentley residential visit. After such a busy Tuesday they were out like lights by 10pm last night and awoke ready charged to have a terrific day today. Mealtimes are great times for chatting with friends and they are all eating well.
Miss Gillick has sourced lots of fans for the dorms which kept the rooms nice and cool as the temperatures keep rising! The sea breeze is much appreciated.
Today they had a fun morning of kayaking and windsurfing out on the water. After lunch it was time to test the group rafts. A couple disintegrated on touching the water but everyone had a lot of fun (and the staff report that it was amusing to watch!).
Then they moved straight onto the low ropes. The class are working together brilliantly as a team and everyone has supported each other to complete the challenges.
After the evening meal the class are setting off to the dry ski slope for some ring fun (always a popular choice) and a little more Black Panther before bedtime.
Just a reminder that the children are not due back at 7.30pm tomorrow in order to get the most out of the day. They will not have had an evening meal so expect a hungry homecomer! Mrs Pinchess will be at school and will open the gates from 7pm to welcome them back.
