Despite the snow, we enjoyed a super World Book Day this year and as ever everyone wowed us with their inventive costumes and creativity. We admired all the book character outfits in assembly and then had story swaps across the whole school. Every pupil wrote and illustrated a book review to go into the library to help others choose a story.

The lunchtime team got into the spirit too with a delicious Pippi Longstocking themed lunch.

It was super to watch the children sharing their books across the school; the older ones still enjoying stories from their younger days and the smallest of our school family sharing their favourite books with the 'big' ones.
